Scott Edward Turpen, age 46, of Nancy, KY., departed this life on Friday, September 1, 2017 at his residence.
He was born on June 24, 1971 in Somerset, KY., to Howard C. and Elizabeth “Liz” Lee Smith Turpen. A very loving man, who never left or hung up without an “I love you”. The utmost gentleman, whom would not greet a lady or a child without Scotty’s signature smile, a “how are you”, and always a hug. A kind man, one whom defined “a lover not a fighter” and never a fan of controversy. A highly intelligent man, one whose wit and intelligence left those around him in awe on constant occasions. A loyal friend. They say finding a loyal friend is like finding a teardrop in the ocean, Scotty was that tear drop. A pleasant soul, whose demeanor and attitude was always calm and easy-going. A resilient man, who faced so many health adversities yet kept fighting and never complained. A loving father, who loved his children with all of his heart. Scotty loved having fun. He enjoyed life. He touched so many with his kindness and heart. Scotty was a man with so many great attributes and he defined his life by putting them to use on a daily basis. His greatest and most admirable trait; Scotty was a man who deeply loved his Mom and Dad. A love that saw no bounds, an unending love, an eternal love, a completely mutual love. A love that carries on this very moment and will forevermore. We love you Scotty. Until we meet again, With all our love, Your family
