Rodney Claude Molden, age 83, of Nancy, KY, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center.

Rodney was born on March 11, 1933 in Faubush, KY to the late Thomas Jefferson Molden and Susie Jane Kissee Molden. He was a Lab-Glaze maker for Crane Plumbing. Rodney was a member of Pleasant Point Baptist Church where he was the former Sunday School Superintendent and the church sexton for 40 years. He loved watching UK basketball.

He is survived by his wife, Winnie Mae Allen Molden to whom he was married for 63 years and seven months; one daughter, Lisa (and Glen) Mink of Nancy, KY; one brother, Raleigh (and Dianna) Molden of Attica, Ind.; one sister, Deloris (and Bucky) Rogers of Nancy, KY; four grandchildren, Ashley Terry of Bardstown, KY, Brittney (and Chris) Crowe of Nancy, KY, Jared Mink of East Bernstadt, KY and Joshua Mink of East Bernstadt, KY; and three great-grandchildren, Joseph Petty of Nancy, KY, Isaac Watson of Nancy, KY and Weston Mink of Livingston, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Susie Molden.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 17, 2017 after 6:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 1:00pm at Pleasant Point Baptist Church with Bro. David Hammond officiating. Burial will be at the Cedar Point Baptist Church Cemetery.
