Betsy Mae Richardson, age 76, of Burnside, KY., departed this life on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at her home.

Betsy was born on August 30, 1941 in Burnside, KY., to the late Obie and Grace Davis Decker. She was a devoted Mother and servant of the Lord Jesus Christ. She worked hard all her life to teach and provide for her family. Betsy was a faithful member of Main Street Baptist Church in Burnside for 39 years where she served in any and all capacity to use her God given talents. She was a true “Proverbs 31” woman and her worth was far above rubies.

She is survived by two sons, Scotty (and Kathy) Richardson of Burnside, KY and Eddie Richardson of Burnside, KY; two daughters, Tracy (and Allen) Keith of Somerset, KY and Mindy (and Scott) Coffey of Barboursville, WV; twelve grandchildren, Sami (and Troy) Patterson, Laura Beth Richardson, Katlyn Richardson, Cody (and Karla) Richardson, Jonathan Richardson, Austin Richardson, Olivia Keith, Eden Grace Coffey, Phebe Coffey, Jude Coffey, Adlai Coffey, and Micah Coffey, two great-grandchildren, Josi Patterson and Aiden Richardson, three brothers, Obie Decker, Jr. of Monticello, KY; Larry Decker of Burnside, KY; and Ronnie Decker of Burnside, KY; and one sister, Shirley Price, a dear friend and sister in Christ.

Along with her parents, Betsy was preceded in death by her husband, John Richardson, one daughter, Sherry Lloyd, and one son, Teddy Richardson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 after 5:00pm at Main Street Baptist Church in Burnside, KY.

Her funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 11:00am at Main Street Baptist Church with Bro. Don Berry officiating. Burial will be at the Richardson Family Cemetery in Burnside, KY. Pallbearers will be Andrew Richardson, James Cole, Scotty Richardson, Eddie Richardson, Dallas Lloyd, and Scott Coffey.
