Lynn Ellen Molden, age 64, of Nancy, KY., passed away on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Lynn was born on January 9, 1954 in Naomi, KY to the late Huston Tarter and Josephine Gadberry Tarter.  She loved making jewelry and crafts, yards sales and going to auctions.  Lynn worked for 23 years at Palm Beach and worked as a retail merchandiser for 10 years at Proctor and Gamble. She was definitely the matriarch and head of the family, and never met a stranger.

She is survived by her husband, Delmer Molden, Jr., of whom she married on February 27, 1971 at Naomi Nazarene Church; one brother, Steve Tarter of Nancy; one sister-in-law, Christeen Tarter of Nancy; and a host of nieces and nephews that loved her dearly.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Deloris Norfleet, Addie B. Horton, Fern Fecke and Virginia Stanley; one brother, Otha Tarter; and one special fur baby, Dixie, who was her companion for  14 ½ years.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 after 5:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Chaplain Greg Ryan and Bro. Randall Whitehead officiating. Burial will be at Tarter Cemetery. Pallbearers will be B.J. Hardy, Shelby Tarter, Rickie Elder, David Calhoun, Steve Tarter, and David Bourne.
