John Beaty Gilmore, age 70, of Eubank, KY, passed away on Monday, November 05, 2018 at his residence.

John was born on May 22, 1948 in Somerset, KY to the late Clyde Gilmore and Vina Mercer Gilmore.  He made his career as a Bulldozer operator for Cooper Power Plant which he thoroughly enjoyed.  But, John’s greatest joy was traveling the world reaching others for Jesus.  John is known, loved and remembered by many for his love of his fellow man, generosity and support.

He is survived by two brothers, Henry Gilmore of Corbin, KY and Jerry Gilmore of Science Hill, KY, and a special friend, Marilyn Tulcey, and her daughter, Monique, both from Belize, Central America; and a host of friends and family in Christ.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Johnna Gilmore Clothier; two sisters, Allene Gross and Marie Whittle; and three brothers, Bill Gilmore, David Gilmore and Gary Gilmore.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 9, 2018 after 5:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.

His funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 10:00am at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Butt officiating.  Burial will be at West Somerset Cemetery.
