James Melvin Fultz, age 73, of Nancy, KY, passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center.
James was born on June 3, 1944 in Barbourville, KY to the late Melvin Fultz and Geraldine Hale Fultz. He was a laborer for Borden Chemicals in Ohio. James loved the outdoors, especially, gardening, golfing and fishing. He attended Oak Grove Baptist Church in Nancy and was a member of the Cincinnati Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by four sons, Jeff (and Angel) Fultz of Mooresville, NC, James (and Annette) Fultz of NC, Chris (and April) Fultz of Cincinnati, OH and Daniel (and Beth) Fultz of Somerset, KY; three daughters, Gina (and Ronald) Hazelbaker of Crittenden, KY, Catherine (and Frank) Beckmann of Cincinnati, OH and Denise Tremble of Cincinnati, OH; two brothers, Danny (and Grace) Fultz of Barbourville, KY and Terry Fultz of Cincinnati, OH; two sisters, Nancy (and Butch) Kirby of Cincinnati, OH and Kim (and Tom) McKiernan of Cincinnati, OH; nineteen grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Sue Fultz, who preceded him on December 30, 2011; and one grandson, Johnny Fultz.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
His funeral service will follow on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Stan Stevenson officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
