Connie B. Morrow, age 69, of Burnside, KY, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Connie was born on June 22, 1948 in Hickory Nut, KY to the late Edgar Lee Coner and Nannie Elizabeth Morris Coner. She was a longtime member of Burnside First Baptist Church where she was the Secretary for many years. Connie sang in the choir and had perfect attendance in the Ladies Sunday School Class for 34 years. After accepting the LORD at a young age she served the LORD she loved faithfully for her entire life. She was dedicated to her card ministry where she sent cards to everyone she loved.
She is survived by two daughters, Christie Ann Ballou (and Robbie Eldridge) of Somerset and Courtney (and Christopher) Adkins of Bronston; two brothers, Leonard Coner of Somerset and Fred Coner of Bronston; three sisters, Wanda Coner of Glasgow, Norma (and Ronnie) Decker of Burnside and Cheryl Vito of Somerset; seven grandchildren, Lindsey Kate Meade, Whitney Eldridge, Austin Ballou, Cody Eldridge, Ben Adkins, Braxton Ballou and Jaxon Eldridge; many nieces and nephews; her church family; and special friends from the FMC Dialysis Center. Throughout her life Connie met and made many friends whom she cherished and loved dearly.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil B. Morrow, whom she married on October 12, 1965 in Wise, VA and he preceded her on September 2, 1990; one daughter, Cecilia “Ceci” Morrow-Meade; and one sister, Judy Phelps.
Visitation will be on Sunday, December 17, 2017 after 5:00pm at Burnside First Baptist Church.
A second visitation will be held on Monday, December 18, 2017 from 10:00am until 11:00am at Burnside First Baptist Church. Her funeral service will follow on Monday at 11:00am at the church with Bro. Richard Christian and Bro. Jordan Burks officiating. Burial will be at Burnside Cemetery.
